Physical Education teaches sports and games such as handball, volleyball, weight training, basketball, golf, badminton, and lacrosse. Health information taught includes SMART goals, CPR, sportsmanship, depression, suicide prevention, self esteem and body issues, bullying, time-management, hydration, healthy eating and tobacco/vaping.
We want our IB Physical and Health Education students to “understand the value of physical activity, achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and collaborate and communicate effectively” (IB Physical and health education guide).
