Message from the Principal

Welcome to the new school year, Murchison Middle School community! As we embark on another journey of learning and growth, I want to extend a warm greeting to our dedicated students, passionate educators, and supportive parents. 

At Murchison, we are proud to provide our students with an International Baccalaureate education aimed to develop all of our students into empowered global citizens! As a Middle Years Program Campus, our students will exhibit all of the IB Learner Profile Traits, while experiencing inquiry based learning and community service project research. Our IB learning is grounded in the SEL structure of building strong relationships with those around us.

Our students have the opportunity to enroll in foreign language classes, excellent Fine Arts and CTE programming, as well as a health and wellness curriculum. Our AVID program is developing students who are ready for college and career!

This year promises new opportunities, challenges, and experiences that will shape us all.
