Because we are an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program that ends in year 3 (grade 8), all Murchison 8th graders are required to complete a community project. 8th grade advisory teachers have started sharing information about the community project with their students. More informatio

All students should plan to bring paper and a writing utensil on the first day of school.
First Day of School - August 20th
We look forward to seeing your student on the first day of school - Tuesday, August 20th! The official school day is from 8:20am to 3:50pm. On the first day of school, students should report FIRST to the following locations:
Matadors Days/Open House - August 13 and 14
All incoming Matador families (returning or new) are invited to campus to this come and go event in order to take a mini tour of campus, join the PTA, pick up pre-purchased Spirit Gear, purchase required Agendas and more! There are three opportunities to visit:
Two Hour Delay 1/17/2024
Dear Austin ISD community, To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all Austin ISD classes will be on a two hour delay Wednesday, Jan. 17. All district offices will also be on a two hour delay.
